It's a fact: Red hair is hard to maintain. It can lose its vibrancy and start to look dull and lifeless. Take it from lifestyle blogger Natalia Simmons, a redhead who manages to always look sensational from head to toe. What's her secret to keeping up her rich, radiant red hair color? Here are her tips and tricks! You can also read her full review here.
But first, a little backstory:
"One of the most common questions I get here on the blog is “what is your hair color?” I have been a firm believer that if you can do it yourself and it’s easy enough to do, do it. So when it comes to my hair color, why would I spend +$80 to get a color when I can do the same for $20?
I have been using Madison Reed hair color for about a year and I really love it. It’s easy to use and I have my color kits on a set schedule to be delivered to me automatically every 8 weeks so I never miss an “appointment!” They have some other great products. I love their shampoo and conditioner, and it helped my hair get through the ‘no-poo’ fiasco of January. My mom also uses their root touch up on the regular.
One of the products I hadn’t tried yet (but was dying to!) was their hair gloss. I had heard great things about it and even mentioned it here. The other day I finally set aside time to try it out – and get it on video! – for you guys to see too! So the question is — should I use hair gloss?"
