Matched and blended to my color
A little goes a long way! Like with all mascara-like products I use, I found you need to wipe the applicator off a little on the tube otherwise the wand is too saturated and it goes on gloppy. Once I started with less, I found the application easy and the coverage was great. The shade match was also perfect - I am a level 7 in Madison Reed and light brown was perfect for me.

The Upgrade My Eyebrows Were Missing
This Root Touch Up Mascara makes my brows look amazing. I love how the wand captures and separates each hair, distributing the product evenly. Simple, Effective, & Versatile Product!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I like that the Madison Reed - The Gray Escape has the versatility to use on hair and brows. I tried it once to cover some grays in my hair and although it did cover, my hair has lightened a bit and now has more red tones than my dark brown shade of the Madison Reed, so I much prefer to use it on my brows instead. I do like the shade of brown though as it appears to have some warmth but yet also neutral. I find light brown shades for brows can sometimes be too cool but this is the perfect balance. The comb applicator works well but I do have to be a little careful so as to not get it on my skin since my brows are fairly thin. If this product were just for brows, I would wish the applicator were a bit smaller but since it can be used for both hair and brows, I think it's the most appropriate size. The applicator disburses just the right amount of product allowing it to go on nicely and without clumping on the comb. My brows never feel hard from this product and It doesn't smudge or flake which is a plus. It also removes easily however in my experience, lasts very well. I would recommend this product and will continue to use it.

Best temporary cover up for grays
I have highlights and tried the light brown gray escape cover up wand just a few days before going to get my roots done at the Madison Reed studio. I loved it! I put it on my hair line just like I would use my eye lash máscara and where my resistant grays are very visible. I blended it and it really “bought me some time” until i get to the salón. It was a great temporary fix.
