Madison Reed Opens its First Color Bar in San Francisco
The Color Bar concept is a first-ever: a salon designed to deliver stunning color (and gray coverage) for time-pressed women who are watching their wallets. For only $60, clients can get permanent color applied to their roots, which is less than half the cost of a traditional salon. Or for just $35 and 35 minutes, clients can have an express root touch-up thanks to the new Root RebootTM, a demi-permanent color service that lasts two weeks.
Madison Reed tested the Color Bar concept this past January with a pop-up location in Manhattan that was profitable within three months. As a result, a permanent location with eight-chairs will open in Manhattan’s Flatiron District in August.
