Happy National Senior Citizens Day from Madison Reed!
Today is National Senior Citizen’s Day, an observance established in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan to honor and value the contributions made by the elderly to their families and communities as well as bring awareness to health, social and economic issues affecting senior citizens.
According to a report from the U.S. Census Bureau, senior citizens have become the largest and fastest-growing demographic of the U.S. population.
American senior citizens are also living longer than their parents before them thanks to advances in medicine, nutrition, and safety.
While there are many benefits to growing older, such as increased wisdom and experiences, there are also a plethora of ailments that follow, including health conditions and the prevalence of gray hair. Those are some of the reasons that inspired us to create products free of ammonia, PPDs, and resorcinol, and infused with natural ingredients that are not only good for your hair, but also better for your health.
In celebration of National Senior Citizen’s Day, we are shining the spotlight on members of the Madison Reed family who are enjoying their golden years. Thank you for your guidance and wisdom. We wish you many more years of good health and brilliant experiences!
