People are talking about Madison Reed, and we LOVE what they are saying. Here are just a few of the recent press hits we’ve been getting…

The New York Times wrote an article about the timely and necessary influx of at-home DIY beauty services, mentioning Madison Reed as one brand that has seen a steep increase in clients. We love the mention, and the ability to help people when they need a little color in their lives.

Pop Sugar gave us a shout out in talking about how to color your hair at home. They also wrote about the #1 at-home hair color hack: don’t pull the color all the way through your mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Couldn’t agree with you more, Pop Sugar!

Refinery29 included us in their “Pro Guide to Coloring Your Hair At Home.” They featured our Color Reviving Gloss, and we couldn’t be happier since we LOVE using color + gloss together.

Good Housekeeping gave our Radiant Cream Color Kit accolades for “Best Cruelty-Free At-Home Hair Color” in their roundup of best at-home hair color. And they’re right—we are proud to be Leaping Bunny certified, the international gold standard for cruelty-free beauty. In fact, ALL of our products are Leaping Bunny certified, and free of ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, parabens, phthalates, gluten, SLS, and titanium dioxide.

Speaking of ingredients, Cosmopolitan gave us props for being what they called, “The Best At-Home Hair Color For Sensitive Scalps”. Sensitive scalp or not, they also talk about how our Radiant Cream Color is full of keratin, argan oil and ginseng root extract to keep hair conditioned. We can all use a bit of nourishing these days!

Of course, we’re not JUST about all-over color, and Glamour recognized that by highlighting (hah!) our Light Works® Balayage Highlighting Kit in their tutorial piece about how to color your hair at home. They called Light Works perfect for at-home highlights, and included a few tips on how to easily do it yourself at home. It is spring, after all—who doesn’t want to go a little lighter these days?

If you don’t want to color just yet, but need to touch up your roots, The Zoe Report wrote about products that extend the life of your color, including our very own Root Touch Up powder. As they say, “You can literally brush your roots away” with this brush-on powder. We do love a good easy peasy solution for problems like roots and grays.

Our Root Touch Up powder got another mention in Vogue, who called it user-friendly and safe to use on color-treated hair. Check and check! Not to mention, Root Touch Up is rain-proof, sweat-proof, and pillow-proof.

(We would be remiss if we didn’t mention that Pop Sugar also touted the powers of Root Touch Up in their article on how to maintain your color while salons are closed.)

Here’s a fun one...we were so excited to see that The Today Show’s Jill Martin mentioned our Root Reboot® in her “Ambush Makeover” at-home edition, filmed in her bathroom. In her video, she talks about how easy it is to use Root Reboot, and only takes about 10 minutes. Just another genius root coverage product!

Local San Francisco-based 7x7 gave us some love recently, mentioning our at-home hair color as a great alternative to hitting up the salon. With more than 55 shades to choose from, we’ve got your perfect shade right here.

These articles have been incredibly helpful for people coloring their hair for the first time (and for people who can’t get to the salon and want to cover their roots). We are so grateful for the love from the press...and even more so—from you. Thank you for your support, your love, and for continuing to inspire us, every single day.
