A simple act of love can trigger extraordinary changes for everyone involved. This is Santiago's story.
“I like to believe that we are all in a magical journey through Life, trying to be happier every day, and looking for hidden clues that can lead us to find our life purpose and fulfill our destiny. Books have been a great influence in my personal journey as they have inspired me to believe that anything is possible, while also making me a more loving person.
One of the most important lessons I have gotten from books is that “A life abundant with love is a life abundant with generosity”. I wanted to pass on this message to two bookworms like myself, hoping they could put this into practice by being generous. So I went to the SF Public Library and hid a small letter in my two favorite books, together with a $5 bill, encouraging the two readers to brighten someone’s day with them. I’m sure that the $5 bills will make two people happy that day, but my deepest wish is to inspire the readers and remind them that Life is full of magic and love, we just have to keep our eyes open for its signs.
Acts of Love are contagious: While doing this Act of Love my girlfriend was inspired and decided to leave a secret letter in her favorite Dr. Seuss book, sharing her love for that book and encouraging the young reader to be a bookworm, just like she once was.”
Madison Reed is empowering people everywhere to create their own acts of love and share what they discover in the process. How will you share your act of love?
